I. Grooved Pre-action Alarm Valve ZSFY Product Introduction:

The pre-action device consists of a pre-action alarm valve assembly, control panel, air pressure maintenance device, and air supply device. It can be activated by electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, or other methods to allow water to flow unidirectionally into the sprinkler system while simultaneously triggering an alarm. It is a one-way valve assembly (valve) device.

The pre-action system combines fire detection and automatic sprinkler systems, providing dual protection for the protected object. When no fire occurs, the system-side pipeline is filled with air, and the deluge valve seals the water in the supply pipeline. After a fire occurs, the control center sends an activation signal to the pre-action device, which opens, converting the system into a wet-pipe network. It is suitable for important places that are cold, freezing, high-temperature, water-sensitive, or where accidental water discharge is not allowed, as well as areas with limited water resources. Examples include libraries, computer rooms, and underground parking garages in cold regions.

II. Grooved Pre-action Alarm Valve ZSFY Working Principle:

In the ready state, the system side is filled with low-pressure compressed air at 0.03-0.05 MPa. The compressed air is used to monitor whether the pipeline is damaged or leaking, and it also prevents water damage and pipeline freezing. Once a fire occurs, the solenoid valve on the deluge valve receives the activation electrical signal, opens, and depressurizes the diaphragm chamber. The deluge valve opens, allowing water to enter the pipeline network through the wet alarm valve, completing the water filling process in a short time. Simultaneously, the hydraulic alarm bell sounds, and the pressure switch activates, indicating to the control center that the pipeline has been filled with water. If the fire further develops, causing the sprinkler's glass bulb to heat up and open to spray water, the hydraulic alarm bell will continue to sound.

The water pressure in the deluge valve's diaphragm chamber controls the opening and closing of the deluge valve, i.e., the entire pre-action device's operation. When the solenoid valve is opened or the emergency manual quick-opening valve is manually opened, the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber decreases, and the diaphragm is pushed open by the water supply pressure, allowing water to flow into the system-side pipeline network for fire extinguishing.

The deluge valve is equipped with an anti-reset device. Once the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber is released, regardless of whether the solenoid valve or manual quick-opening valve is closed again, the pressure in the diaphragm chamber cannot increase. The deluge valve remains open, ensuring that it will not close again due to the solenoid valve suddenly losing power and closing during the firefighting process. After the fire is extinguished, the reset ball valve must be opened by personnel to repressurize the pressure chamber.

If the fire is controlled in time after receiving the fire signal, the closed sprinkler will not open to spray water. The deluge valve can then be closed, and the water in the pipeline drained to restore the air-filled state. In the ready state, the air pressure value in the pipeline is maintained and controlled by the gas pressure reducing valve. Normal and minor leaks can be compensated by the gas pressure reducing valve to maintain constant air pressure. Since the air compressor's air delivery volume is fixed, when a sprinkler breaks or a major leak occurs in the pipeline, the air pressure drops to a certain value, and the low-pressure alarm pressure gauge activates, sending a low-pressure alarm electrical signal to the control center.

The wet alarm valve installed on the upper part of the deluge valve primarily acts as a check valve to seal the air pressure in the pipeline network and prevent leakage through the automatic drip valve of the deluge valve. To ensure more reliable gas sealing, a certain amount of base water should be pre-filled in the wet alarm valve.
